( Artefact ) I got all my animation from mixamon.com then used cinema 4D to refine the animation then moved them all in to the Unreal engine in a fbx format.
After importing the animation and the meshes i ran in to a few troubles and it wasn’t letting me add my animation in to a blend space, i deleted everything then started again only importing one mesh, this ended up working for me.
In the blend space i mapped my animations to the one mash that i had imported. in this blend space I mapped my idle, walking and running together so it smoothly transitions when the character starts to move or gets faster.
all the animation files
i started of by painting my model in 3D bodypaint in cinema 4D
I painted each part that needed to be a different texture a different colour, i then moved the uv map in to photoshop.
I started to delete the colours one by one and using layered textures to fill in the colours.
This is the end texture with all the new texture.
the texture on the model.
i have been getting my metal textures from this website http://texturelib.com/#!/category/?path=/Textures/rust/scratches the textures from here are high quality and free to use.
